What is a pigging system?
During the transportation of products in the pipeline, the pigging system is a system that uses Decoking Pig or scraper ball equipment to perform various pigging systems. or the practice of product recovery or maintenance operations. The advantage of using a pigging system is that there is no need to stop the flow of products in the pipeline. This can also achieve the desired effect of the manufacturer. These devices are called pigs. This is because they scrape or clean like normal pigs.
Operations in the pipeline include but are not limited to cleaning the pipeline. Mainly by plugging the pig into the pig launcher. (or launch station) (i.e. oversized section in pipeline. Reduced to normal diameter). Then close the transmitter station. And use the pressure-driven flow of the product in the pipeline or compressed air or water pressure to push the pig along the pipeline and travel in the pipeline at a constant speed. Until the pig reaches the receiver (or receiving station) and discharges the product in the pipeline.
