Pig indicator maintenance:
Regular maintenance.
After the pig indicator is installed on the pipeline, its maintenance is relatively simple. It is very important for the indicator to maintain a normal operation that the pig passes through the indicator regularly. If your pig pass indicator does not work properly (indicating pig pass) or has worked. But it doesn’t work now. Please check our instructions or consult us.
Flag operation
Ensure that the flag is reset accurately. When checking the product flag, the flag should be locked down. This is the normal position of the pig before it passes. When the pig passes, the indicator flag is erected. The indicator flag needs to be reset before the next pig passes.
Product leakage
If there is product leakage around the flag, the pressure plug or O-ring is leaking. Its pressure plug should be removed and the O-ring replaced. If there is a potential for product contamination (wax, sand, etc.) around the trigger, remove the pressure plug. Then clean the trigger tank with warm soapy water or mild solvent.
